Outdoor sketching is about observing the world, witnessing and recording. Thus, we ensure students at MADS are able to draw reasonably accurately. During outdoor sketching, we encourage our students to simply sketch in a descriptive way to show people their stories. We want them to not only see what they have seen, but also to feel what it was like to be there. Once every year, students of MADS have the privilege of going out on an outdoor sketching project.
